The Private Equity Summer Internship Program is designed to provide an introduction to the alternative investment industry. Interns receive real-world experience that will foster professional development while complementing their studies. Internships in the Investments department are geared towards rising seniors pursuing a career in the alternative investments industry.

The individual will be involved in the following critical activities:

  • Analyze and conduct due diligence on private equity fund and co-investment opportunities across private equity, infrastructure or real estate strategies.

  • Assist with preparation and presentation of investment recommendations and due diligence findings to internal committees.

  • Conduct industry research to support investment evaluation process.

  • Support client relationship management efforts, including ongoing portfolio management and reporting.

The ideal experience and critical competencies for the role include the following:

  • Qualified candidates will be pursuing BA/BS with a concentration in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field.

  • Applicable coursework or previous internship in the field of investments or financial markets.

  • Experience with spreadsheets and financial databases (CapIQ, Preqin, ThomsonOne) helpful, but not required.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word; Excel; Outlook; Power Point).

  • Demonstrated interest in and knowledge of the investment industry, particularly the alternative investment industry.

The Corcoran Center offers paid summer internships to students interested in learning how to make a meaningful difference within the greater Boston Community while gaining significant professional experience. 

This competitive internship places students at over 16 renowned nonprofit, government, and mission driven industry organizations within the fields of community development, urban action, and real estate.

Students gain hands-on experience by completing a summer project that is presented publicly at a reception at the conclusion of the program.

 Discovery Internship Program


The Discovery internship is designed to expose sophomore level summer interns to two different client service businesses at Deloitte. Interns will spend four weeks in each business. You'll gain real-world experience working as a rotational intern working in two different client service businesses (Audit & Assurance, Risk and Financial Advisory, or Tax).  Beyond exposure to “real life” projects, the internship also delivers a variety of national and local learning and networking events. In addition, throughout the internship there are ongoing learning events such a lunch and learns, industry/service line spotlights, and regularly scheduled training offerings designed to help our you develop technical and client service skills. You will understand first-hand what a career with Deloitte is like and have the opportunity to build a cross-business professional network.

Discovery interns are also invited to a three-day National Intern Conference at Deloitte University during the summer months. Additional social activities are planned throughout the internship period to provide opportunity to network with Deloitte professionals.

As a Discovery Intern, you will also have the opportunity to be part of the NextGen Leaders Program. Program participants are eligible for a scholarship ranging from $2,500 to $5,000 paid at the start of the internship. Should you join Deloitte full-time, after your internship, you will have the opportunity to participate in three years of targeted learning and development training. Financial assistance combined with experiences are avenues that can help you unleash your true potential.

The Discovery internship is open to all eligible sophomore students.

 WINning with Deloitte – Female Mentorship Program


The WINning with Deloitte program will provide a mentoring experience designed to foster connections between top female talent and female client service professionals. The program is a series of workshops with a focus on women in business, leadership skills, as well as networking and mentoring. Participants are expected to attend all sessions, which will take place from December 2018 to February 2019.


  • Female students in freshman or sophomore year

  • Business or Technology related major; with a concentration in Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science or Risk Management

ADL is a European-based strategy consulting firm that re-entered the US market a few years ago that is looked to hire 1-2 more business analysts. Currently, we’ve got a team of around 20 consultants working in TMT, Health Care/Life Sciences, and Food & Beverage.  We have offices in Boston, NYC, and SF, so any of those would be in play. Training: 4 weeks in HUB (Burlington (MA), Reston (VA), Austin (TX), Santa Monica (CA) or Redwood Shores (CA). Earn a paycheck while training!  Technical (product training, Oracle Red Stack), business / Sales training, mock cold calling, sales presentations, sales competitions & building your brand on Social Media (my favorite training!) 

Compensation: $50K base + sign on bonus, potential to earn $25K in additional variable

About the Job 

  • Use Crayon’s internal artificial intelligence interface to read the Internet’s tea leaves and figure out what companies are doing based on patterns and signals in the structured and unstructured data on the web. You’ll be like an NSA Analyst, but for marketing.

  • Compile competitive intelligence reports and findings and deliver them to customers.

  • Collaborate with others on your team, work to understand and resolve customer questions and issues.

  • Work with product and engineering to automate processes and brainstorm ways to make Crayon’s products more valuable to customers. Sometimes small ideas can turn into big ones!

  • All of our people work at our new, bigger Crayon HQ in Boston (near South Station).



Citizens Bank is seeking current college seniors to join the execution team within its Capital Markets & Sponsor Finance Group (“Capital Markets”). Analysts within Capital Markets will work closely with the team’s senior professionals in originating, structuring and executing leverage finance transactions, primarily within the U.S. middle market. 

Analysts’ responsibilities will require significant and regular transaction involvement, from origination through closing, as well as the ability to work on multiple projects and transactions concurrently. Analysts within the Capital Markets group play a critical role on their deal teams and interact directly with Managing Directors and other senior management members, other groups within Citizens Bank, client senior management teams, private equity investment teams, and legal counsel. Analysts will work directly with senior professionals across a number of different industries and support the acquisition, leveraged buyout, dividend recapitalization, restructuring, and refinancing activity generated by the firm’s corporate and private equity (“Sponsor”) clients.
